The Royal Commission into Violence, Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation of People with Disability Temporary Employment Register is open for candidates to register their interest in employment with the Royal Commission.
The Temporary Employment Register enables the Royal Commission to access appropriately skilled and experienced individuals at short notice for short term employment opportunities.
This vacancy is only open to people with disability. The filling of this vacancy is intended to constitute an affirmative measure under Section 27 of the Australian Public Service Commissioner's Directions 2016.
In line with these Directions, if you are found suitable and offered a role, you may be asked to confirm you are a person with a disability during the onboarding process.

To fill vacancies , the Royal Commission will use a range of employment methods to engage staff on temproary arrangements, including:
· non-ongoing APS employment (initial periods of up to 18 months with the possibility of extension for the duration of the Royal Commission)
· secondments and temporary transfers from other APS and non-APS employers (for specified/agreed terms)
· labour hire contractors (for specified/agreed terms)
· ABN contractors (for specified/agreed terms).
The Royal Commission is not engaging employees on an ongoing (permanent) basis.
This is a register of interest only. There is no guarantee that an offer of employment will be made while your application remains on the register.
